I have been Associate Director of Libraries and Head of Technical Services for the Ohio Wesleyan University Libraries since March 2000.

I was Cataloging Coordinator and Assistant Professor at Southern Oregon University Library, Ashland, OR from 1996 to 2000 and Librarian, Cataloger/Systems at Elizabethtown College Library, Elizabethtown, PA from 1994 to 1996. I was Reference Librarian at York College Library, CUNY, Jamaica, NY in 1994 and Library Assistant at City College of New York, CUNY, NY from 1993 to 1994.

I'm listed in Marquis Who's Who in America, 2010 & 2011.

My educational background includes a bachelor and a master degree in history from Yuunan University, Kunming China; a master's degree in international affairs from Ohio University, Athens, Ohio; and a master's degree in library science from St. John's University, Jamaica, New York.

• Made a half-day seminar entitled "The Management Issues of Academic and Special Libraries in the US" at the Yunnan Art College on July 12, 2005.

• Made a half-day seminar entitled "The Library and Information Science Education in the US" at the College of Information and Archive of Yunnan University in China on July 11, 2005.

• Made a half-day seminar entitled "The Management and Development of American Public Libraries" at Yunnan Provincial Library on July 8, 2005. After the seminar, Yunnan Provincial Library appointed me as their long-term adviser.

• Made a half-day seminar entitled "Development of American Academic Libraries" at Yunnan University Library on July 1, 2005.

• Made a half-day seminar entitled "The Management Issues of the American Academic Libraries" at Yunnan University Library on June 29, 2005. More than 20 library directors of Yunnan colleges and universities attended the seminar. After the seminar, an agreement was signed for the further academic exchange between the Yunnan Provincial Commission on Academic Libraries (Yunnan sheng gao xiao tu gong wei) and the Chinese American Librarians Association Midwest Chapter.

• Co-presented "Global Library Collaboration: a Case Study" at the American Library Association of Ohio annual meeting in November 2004.
