Physics Demonstration Day at Briggs High School in Columbus, Ohio (April 3, 2009): Nine members of our chapter and three professors from the Department of Physics and Astronomy performed interactive physics demonstrations in the classroom of physics teacher Darren Greschuk at Briggs High School in Columbus, Ohio. The event was sponsored by a 2007-2008 Marsh White Award from the SPS National Office. The event also received media coverage from WCMH-TV4, the NBC affiliate station for the Columbus, Ohio area. Physics Demonstration Day at Briggs High School in Columbus, Ohio (April 25, 2008): Nine members of our chapter and two professors from the Department of Physics and Astronomy performed interactive physics demonstrations in the classroom of physics teacher Darren Greschuk at Briggs High School in Columbus, Ohio. The event was sponsored by a 2007-2008 Marsh White Award from the SPS National Office. Physics Carnival at Ohio Wesleyan University (February 8, 2008): Six members of our chapter performed interactive physics demonstrations in the Science Center Atrium at Ohio Wesleyan University in front of a mixed crowd of students, professors, and administrators in a carnival-like atmosphere. Food was generously provided by Gary and Carol Krasnosky, owners of Executive Catering in Lancaster, OH and parents of SPS member Kris Krasnosky. Physics Demonstration Day at Tyler Run Elementary School in Powell, Ohio (May 4, 2007): Eight members of our chapter and SPS Advisor Dr. Robert Kaye performed interactive physics demonstrations in the third-grade classroom of Carrie Hunsicker at Tyler Run Elementary School in Powell, Ohio. The event was sponsored by a 2006-2007 Marsh White Award from the SPS National Office.
