ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest

This contest is hosted by the national ACM (Association for Computing Machinery). The entire contest is broken up into regions. Colleges and universities compete in each region to go on to the world finals. Eventually it comes down to a couple colleges from around the world that try to win. Ohio Wesleyan participates in the ACM East Central Programming Contest. This particular regional contest involves colleges and universities from western Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Eastern Ontario, and Indiana (excluding Greater Chicago). Winners from the East Central North America Contest go on to compete in the World Finals. In recent years, the contest has been hosted by the University of Cincinatti.
