Five College Contest
- 2008 - OWU teams placed 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 13th out of 17 teams
- 2007 - OWU teams placed 4th, 8th, 9th, and 10th out of 13 teams
- 2006 - OWU teams placed 3rd, 8th, 9th, and 10th out of 14 teams.
- 2005 - An OWU team won for the second straight year!. We also came in 3rd, 6th and 11th out of 15 teams
- 2004 - An OWU team won! We also came in 4th, 5th, and 7th, out of 17 teams.
- 2003 - OWU teams came in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 13th out of 15 teams.
- 2002 - OWU teams came in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 7th, and 11th out of 15 teams.
- 2001 - OWU teams came in 3rd, 5th, and 6th out of 13 teams.
- 2000 - An OWU team came in 2nd.
- 1999 - An OWU team won.
- 1998 - An OWU team won.
Putnam Mathematical Competition
MAA Student Competition
This is a team competition for schools in the Ohio section of the MAA. The contest started in 2004.
Past results:
- 2006- OWU teams placed first and fifth out of 29 teams.
- 2004- An OWU team placed second out of 17 teams.
ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest
This contest is hosted by the national ACM (Association for Computing Machinery). The entire contest is
broken up into regions. Colleges and universities compete in each region to go on to the world finals. Eventually
it comes down to a couple colleges from around the world that try to win. Ohio Wesleyan participates in the
ACM East Central Programming Contest. This particular regional contest involves colleges and universities from
western Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Eastern Ontario, and Indiana (excluding Greater Chicago). Winners from the
East Central North America Contest go on to compete in the World Finals.

Denison Invitational Programming Contest
This programming contest is hosted by Denison and has been happening for quite some time. The contest involves many colleges in Ohio. Several teams are allowed to represent each college and each team consists of three students. The goal of the contest is to answer the most programming problems, but if a team answers the same amount of problems, then it is the team that solved them the quickest that wins. - 2008 - The OWU team finished 5th out of 21 teams
- 2007 - The OWU team finished first out of 13 teams.
- 2006 - OWU teams came in 4th and 8th out of 13 teams.
- 2005 - OWU teams came in 2nd and 5th out of 18 teams.
- 2004 - OWU teams came in 2nd, 6th, and 13th out of 18 teams.
- 2003 - OWU teams came in 6th and 7th out of 12 teams.

OWU Local Programming Contest
