To check out items on reserve in the library, you will need:

  • Your course name and number
  • Your instructor's name
  • The title(s) of the article or book you are looking for.

You can check the availability and location of items on reserve in CONSORT.

While the majority of course reserves are located in Beeghly Library they may also have been placed in the Music Library, the Science Library, or the Media Center so you will need to know in which library your professor has placed the reserve.

Visit the library's front desk to request the item.

Course reserves can be borrowed for short periods of time ranging from two hours to one day and cannot be taken outside the library.
