Normally, students from Ohio Wesleyan University who study abroad must have junior or first-semester senior status and a GPA of at least 2.5. Spanish majors or minors with a GPA of at least 2.3 may also be approved. Students who are interested in studying in Salamanca should speak with the on-campus director, Dr. Julian Arribas, and then apply to :

Each applicant will receive a packet of procedures, checklist, and application form. Students planning to study in Salamanca in the Fall 2006 semester must complete and return the application to the Office of Off-Campus Programs by February 1, 2006. Notification of acceptance to the program will be mailed out in March or April of 2006.

Cost of the Salamanca Program

The University makes the best effort to make the Salamanca Program accessible and affordable to all Ohio Wesleyan University students. Ohio Wesleyan University students will pay approximately the amount that they pay for a semester on campus in Delaware, Ohio. The costs are dependent on many factors, and actual costs are figured on a case-by-case basis.
