Psychological Adjustment
Instructor: Harvey R. Freeman
This course aims to combine a concern with practical problems in living with psychology as a scientific discipline. The goal is to show you how psychological knowledge can help you meet the challenges of daily life. We will discuss how people attempt to understand and cope with their own problems, how people relate to people...form friendships and fall in love, how they perceive themselves and each other, and how they deal with developmental issues such as entering the world of work. Throughout the course, you will be provided with the opportunity to complete self-assessment instruments intended to help you understand where you are in relation to the issues discussed in class.
