Staff Profiles

 

	Nancy A Westfield, M.A. Nancy joined OWU Career Services as Assistant Director in 2002. She has over eighteen years of experience working in career services in liberal arts institutions and values the opportunity to work individually with students as they progress from their first year to graduation.  Nancy has a Bachelor of Science in Social Work, an M.A. in Sociology and an M.A. in Student Personnel Administration in Higher Education from Ball State University.
	Sharon Schrader, B.A. Sharon has been on the clerical staff at Ohio Wesleyan for the past 6 years. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Carson-Newman College in Tennessee, a small liberal arts college similar to OWU. She and her husband Jere have two sons, Bryan and Jeremy, and a "daughter," Maggie, who also happens to be a miniature schnauzer. Sharon is a huge fan of Agatha Christie mysteries, hummingbirds, ballet, fresh cut flowers and laughing.
	Char Smith Char is a senior from Louisville, Kentucky working toward her B.A. degrees in both Psychology and English.   She recently bought her first investment property in the form of a duplex where she lives with her dog, Laila.  When she’s not working with contractors and learning about home maintenance, Char enjoys spending time with her sisters in Delta Zeta sorority, volunteering for many philanthropic organizations, and visiting her boyfriend, Brandon, in Upper Sandusky.
	Sarah Wright Sarah is a senior from Willoughby, OH double majoring in Spanish and Psychology. The highlight of her college experience was studying abroad to Salamanca, Spain her junior year, and after she graduates she would like to involve traveling and Spanish in her career. Besides her other job working at the off-campus office, she is a member of C.L.E.A.R., The Kappa Phi Club (serving as the PR chair), the newly formed marketing club (serving as the VP), and the badminton club. She loves to spend her free time with friends and family, watching good (or so-bad-its-good) movies, traveling whenever possible, and always taking more photos than necessary. Her favorite quote to live by is "Be the change you wish to see in the world" from Gandhi.
