The Historian is currently one of the largest circulation history journals in the world, with approximately 13,500 subscribers. Each quarter we review 75 books on topics covering the Americas, Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, as well as books of a general, comparative, or historiographical nature. We are one of only two journals to cover all temporal and geographical areas of history, with book reviews, articles, and photo essays. Our electronic database of reviewers is organized by keyword.
