My Old Vaio
Update: Within 12 hours of the site being put up, I received an offer for the newer battery from Kevin (CA). Thank you Kevin.
I am willing to give the remaining one - the original Sony battery for $5 plus shipping if anyone needs it for any reason. (I would like to think someone might need this battery although it only lasts half an hour, for some reason that I dont know about). If you're that one, please email me at
kachheda@owu.edu to buy this remaining battery.

Original Post:
Okay - I have two batteries. Both fit the PCG-FXA machine. (They will also work for other models of Sony Vaio F, FX and FXA series). One is an original Sony battery that came with the laptop. It doesn't last more than 30 minutes on a full charge. The other one is the one that Best Buy sent me after 2 years when my original battery started giving me only an hour. This one was received by me in April 2004. I didn't use it much at all. It charges up really fast and gives more than 3.5 hours with programs such as word processor running on the laptop. I havent used this battery much at all since soon after receiving it, my laptop broke down. This is a great-bang-for-your-buck-battery.

Price: $45 for both. $5 for original Sony battery (lasts only 30 mins) (email me to buy)
